Need
more living space?
Homeowners
can get more living space by having an attic or
basement finished. We take the headaches out of renovations for you
whether it is an attic, basement, new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, walls, doors or complete
top to bottom home renovation.
The top four pictures show the
progression of one of our attic renovations. Here, we insulated the roof and
converted an old attic into a new master bedroom with ensuite bath.
Respecting
your home
We respect your home and do
our best to minimize the dirt, dust and inconvenience. We put up
dust barriers when needed and clean up the jobsite daily. A renovation usually requires removal of the old and installation
of the new. Getting the old stuff out and moving the new building
materials in is done with care and caution. Once the refuse is out
of your house, we arrange to take it to recycling or the dump.
Integrity
We don't cut corners. We show up as promised,
we keep a tidy jobsite and always strive to do the job
right. That is our Integrity Commitment to you.
Knowledge
People
sometimes try to save money by doing it themselves. That is not a
bad thing, but it is important to know what you
are doing. We often end up fixing do-it-yourselfers' errors or other contractors' mistakes.

Savings on
quality hardwood flooring
We
can install the hardwood floor you buy somewhere else or you can get your
hardwood flooring directly from us. We have a special arrangement with a
hardwood flooring wholesaler. There is no retail middleman, which is why we can offer big savings over what you can
typically buy from a flooring retail store.
The
difference between cheap and quality hardwood flooring
Where
the wood comes from can make the difference. Our
quality hardwood flooring comes from within 500 kilometres of here where
the logging is regulated and trees are planted to preserve our
forests. Forests are sustained and transportation costs are minimized.
Each
growing season produces a ring on a tree. Our short growing season produces trees with tighter rings.
This makes the wood harder. Cheaper hardwoods from places such as
China are often harvested by clear cutting subtropical forests. The
subtropical trees have a longer growing season and larger rings. They
produce softer wood even though they may be the same type of
tree.
Unregulated
logging practices can destroy forests completely and we have found the
softer wood is much more susceptible to marring and scratching.
